After many years as a successful massage therapist, I got into Pilates as a last resort for my own chronic lower back pain.  For months I suffered in silence until I engaged my own well-respected team of massage therapists, chiropractors, and MD’s to find relief.  As part of the remedy, the Doctor prescribed a regime of Pilates training for 3 months, 2 times a week.  I got better and have never had another back problem I couldn’t solve myself.


The “Ah Ha” moment for me was that massage was only half the answer to pain associated with alignment, repetitive, or postural challenges. The best body work in the world is only a temporary fix for the muscular imbalances that are the root causes of so much discomfort.
